Patter of Paws offer a wedding chaperone service for The Cotswolds, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire areas, that will ensure you and your dog(s) are happy, comfortable and stress free on your wedding day. Our four-legged friends are part of our family so it only feels right they are part of the wedding celebrations if you would love for them to be there, whether it being for the family photos, as a ring bearer or greeting your guests on their arrival. However, if you feel your dog would be happier not part of your day, Patter of Paws can still help with care for your dog(s). Feel free to reach out for more details.
We all have different requirements for our wedding, Patter of Paws will be on-hand to create a bespoke package to meet yours and your dog’s needs. Within the wedding chaperone service, it could include:
- Pre and post-wedding dog walks, comfort breaks and feeding
- Collect your dog and safely transport to and from the wedding venue
- Supervise family and friends photo sessions with your wedding photographer and work alongside other wedding suppliers
- Safely transport your dog home for more care and love, or to your chosen overnight lodgings when all duties are complete
- Overnight dog sitting in your home or your wedding venue accommodation.
Bespoke quotes and dog care
All quotes and dog care are completely bespoke to couples and their dog’s need, which is why Patter of Paws take the time to get to know you all with a free ‘meet and greet’. With over 20 years experience in the events and marketing industry and nearly 5 years working as a wedding chaperone, Patter of Paws understands all weddings are different and unique to the couples.
Payment terms
A 50% non refundable administration fee will be required to secure your wedding day booking – this will need to be paid during your initial ‘meet and greet’ stage. The remainder of your balance must be paid 30 days prior to your wedding day.
It’s recommended that your booking is made at least 6 months ahead of your wedding to avoid the wedding diary getting booked up. A general ‘meet and greet’ will initially be booked to discuss your requirements, from there a bespoke will be with you within 48 hours of meeting. At least one walk or home visit is recommended be in place ahead of the wedding, so Patter of Paws and your dog(s) are comfortable with each other on your special day.
